As the awards were handed out on Saturday for the top 6 finishers in each category, Vermilion Parish had four wrestlers recognized.
Leading the way was Erath High Schools lone wrestler Ryan Fobbs who captured the D3 -285 championship. Congratulations.
3 parish wrestlers garnered 4th place medals.
Kaplan High wrestlers Lane Turnley - D3 - 145 and Ethan Vigneaux D3 - 285 along with North Vermilion's Mateo Peterson D2 - 285 were all awarded for their efforts.
As a team, North Vermilion finished 11th in state in Division II and Kaplan finished 9th in Division III.
