On Friday, October 28th, Kaplan High School played host to the Vermilion Parish Special Olympics meet. Athletes from 16 schools competed in various events and qualified for the district meet later this year.
A special thanks to Kaplan High School administration and student body who helped to move the event indoors after yesterday's inclement weather.
A number of volunteers, teachers, parents and dignitaries were on hand to cheer on our awesome student participants.
