Yesterday, we received a check for $19,531.16 from the car raffle. We are grateful for the outstanding generosity from our CPE community, and for all that Mendoza Ford does to support the Vermilion Parish School System!

Leap Prep Easter Egg Hunt! Students in Ms. Lexi’s class had to go around the classroom, find an easter egg, and solve the math problem inside. They had to “collect” as many eggs as they could solve!

Mrs. Andrea’s second graders did an outstanding job on an Earth Day art activity which correlated with the Dr. Seuss book “The Lorax.”

One fish, blue fish- a state of matter investigation! Students in Mrs. Lainey’s second grade class had fun exploring solids, liquids, and gases.





Mrs. Kristin’s 5th graders worked as ecologists to build a model rainforest ecosystem (terrarium). They will observe and collect data daily to figure out why the jaguars and sloths aren’t thriving in their environment!





Students in Mrs. Annie’s class are comfy and cozy while working on argumentative essays!





Fourth graders in Mrs. Jessica’s class had a blast exploring pitch using drinking straws.




Mrs. Tammy’s kindergarten students had a blast at their “Stay Trip” today. They enjoyed the petting zoo, train rides, face painting, ice cream truck, and a picnic.





Mrs. Nicole’s students are working hard and having fun in reading centers.
